Our Mikayla is due to have her baby any day now. It has been hot hot hot down in Castle Rock, with no afternoon thunderstorms to cool down the atmosphere (and everyone living beneath it). Poor Mikayla is now 11 months pregnant, and she just can’t get comfortable. She lays down on her side, rather than kushing (which is how they normally lay down, upright, with their legs all tucked under themselves) and she wanders around the paddock irritably. Which is not very different from her normal behavior, actually. Mikayla can be a bit of a drama queen.
